Hi everyone! I'm Rae Tina, and no, it's not a random pseudonym I pulled out of a hat. It's actually my middle name, that I love, and don't get to use nearly as often as I'd like. I'm from New York City and have had the privilege to reside in this crazy city all of my life. Reading and writing have been my passions since middle school, and it has only grown since then. I graduated from Wadleigh Secondary High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 2012 with a major in Photography. I thought to pursue that while in college, but during my first year at Pace University, I changed my major from Art History to English Lit. I quickly learned that jumping right into a fast-paced college experience after such a lax senior year wasn’t the right path for me and took a year off. During my lost year, as I like to call it, I spent a lot of time reading, so much so that my friends all told me that I should get into publishing or writing. While the idea intrigued me, I still wasn’t too sure where my path was going to take me. I ended up getting my Associates degree in Office Administration from Wood Tobe-Coburn and during my time there, I jumped into the world of writing fanfiction. I now spend my days working as an office admin for an air conditioning company based in Long Island City, and my nights as a hard-working author and student working on my Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing.
